Our calendar for the rest of 2022
Arts@St Bart’s Fundraising Events
Friday 14 October: MOSAICA and guest soloist. 7.30pm.
In 2019, Jonathan Delbridge formed the MOSAICA Chamber Choir, based in Lopen Church, where they have twice performed to glowing reviews. We booked them after their performance of Tavener’s The Lamb and other works at St. Bart’s Mele Christmas! concert last December. This will be their first – and long-overdue – headline show. You can hear The Lamb, Howard Goodall’s The Lord is My Shepherd (composed as the theme to the Vicar of Dibley) and works by Karl Jenkins and John Rutter. Mosaica will be joined by wonderful young Mezzo Soprano, Molly Jasmine Soo.
TICKETS £10 in advance from Grand Interiors, £12 on the door and on Eventbrite. Under 18s FREE.
Saturday 3 December: Christmas with The Choir of Angels. 7.30pm.
This will be the third Christmas that the Choir of Angels has performed at St. Bart’s. A group of accomplished singers were first hurriedly put together for a concert celebrating Christmas 2020, when a window of opportunity opened up between lockdowns. Last year they again performed at Mele Christmas! Singing the premiere of Christmas Bells. They will be singing the carol again plus many other choral favourites. Ticket details soon.
Friday 17 December. Midwinter Concert with Reg Mueross with Special Guest Phil Beer and Guest. 7.30pm Tickets: £15 Children under 14: £5
Always a Sell Out, so buy your tickets quickly from Crewkerne Information Centre or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Crewkerne resident Reg, an acclaimed songwriter and performer, shares the limelight with Show of Hands stalwart, Phil. A wonderfully atmospheric evening, including mince pies and a bit of carol singing.
